APE completed the supply, installation and commissioning of a 1500kVA standby rated Mitsubishi based diesel generator for a well-known supermarket chain. An open set installed into a generator plant room for the electrical contractor EIC Ltd, completed with inlet, discharge acoustics and fuel system. 

The JCB diesel generator has been furnished with ComAp InteliGen with InteliVision 5 (IV5) colour screen, the LV switchboard has been populated with ComAp InteliMains, IV5 and MainsPro relay for synchronising with the utility. The combination of InteliGen and InteliMains has been installed to a standard ComAp application normally used for multiple engine installs.

The application provides the customer with a cost effective solution, reducing cable and installation costs along with an independent ATS control system to satisfy our client’s temporary ‘Hire Generator’ power connection needs.
