Nationwide, Wakefield House

Wakefield House is another recent project that we delivered for Nationwide. Working with Imtech, we supplied a 1000kVA generator packaged into a standard 40ft ISO container to achieve 75dbA at 1 metre. The unit is for standby application with paralleling capabilities to support a business critical data building for the UK’s largest Building Society.

The generator enclosure is complete with a 10,000ltr fuel tank, fill point cabinet and equipped with ComAp InteliSys NT controls. The installation provides a standby application supporting 12 independent site loads via break transfer system, furnished with paralleling capability Demand Response participation. The project required a temporary installation of a 450kVA unit, also supplied by APE, to ensure continuous supply were supported to the critical loads during an extensive building development program
